There are advocates fore and against the use of SEO techniques needless to say which side of the fence we're on.  Just because the search engines put up with the SEO industry doesn't mean they like us manipulating their search results.  Therefore, we feel you're much better off quietly reaping the benefits and leave the boasting to someone else.  Absolutely no good can come by advertising the fact that you either use SEO techniques or employed someone else to do so on your behalf.

For that reason we don't reveal clients names by posting testimonials and absolutely forbid the use of link backs to our website from our clients.  Even though it would be very favorable to our sales and website ranking to do so.
